Our Story:

Today, we are a visionary company offering cutting-edge solutions to thousands, but like many great All-American Organizations, we started as nothing more than an idea. It all began in the fall of 2003 when our founder, Dr. Marty Baker, realized that a need wasn't being met at his church. Pastor Baker was (and is) the Lead Pastor of Stevens Creek Church in Augusta, GA and as a church leader, he knew that part of his leadership responsibility was to recognize and respond to needs in his congregation. Several members of the church had inquired about giving to the church with a debit card, but the church wasn't equipped to process electronic donations.

Pastor Baker didn't set out to start a revolutionary company.
He was simply trying to meet a need in his own congregation, but as he searched the internet and made calls, he was astounded to find that there was nothing on the market to process debit card transactions for churches. Church members were coming to church armed with their debit cards, but if they felt compelled to donate, they had no way to do it unless they drove home and brushed the dust off their check books.

Marty resolved to respond to the needs of his church by creating a new way to give, and the now-world-famous giving kiosks were born. The congregation responded so well to the new convenience that Marty and his wife Patty decided to make the same convenience open to organizations and donors all over the country and the response has been overwhelming. SecureGive began as a Family Business and even though our family has now grown to include a multitude of churches, organizations and individuals from Hawaii to Hilton Head, we are still a family business.
