Innovative giving kiosk allows congregates to easily contribute

SecureGive is a software company that enables churches the ability to receive contributions through a giving machine located in their church. People will be able to walk up to the kiosk, swipe their bank card and use a touch screen application to make their donation.

In 2004, I examined my own life and realized that I no longer carried cash or a checkbook, but always had a debit card. I thought about my church members. What if they were prompted to give, but didn’t have their checkbook? I then searched for a company that provided this service and couldn’t find one. SecureGive was born.

The SecureGive system uses a secure-encrypted PIN Pad and is built on a card-present transaction. The ability to do PIN secure debit sets SecureGive apart from other digital tithe companies in the marketplace. In 2006, more than $200,000 came in through the kiosk at Stevens Creek Church. This year we expect more than $250,000 to be donated via this method. This technology offers people a safe, convenient method for donating to something they really believe in — their church.
